Pure Wool 5825 Improved Performance

Natural Wool 5825 uses specially selected fleece wool from sheep raised in grazing fields in New Zealand. Unique technology is used in the fibre processing to gain the best thermal and acoustic values that will last a lifetime.  Pure Wool 5825 will maintain its values for the life of a house.
Pure wool 5825 insulation does not contain any harsh chemicals or odors and is the only 100% green insulation on the market. When crimped woolen fibers are packed together, they form millions of tiny air pockets which trap air. These tiny pockets are what keep sheep warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. This natural adaptation works in the same manner to insulate your building or home.

Because of wool’s resiliency, and the fact that wool absorbs harmful VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) found in many glues, paints, lacquers and finishes, wool is the perfect insulation. Because natural wool is non carcinogenic, fire resistant, hypoallergenic, and does not promote the growth of bacteria and dust mites, loose wool fiberfill makes sense for anything that surrounds your family PUREWOOL 5825 is used as insulation for homes and as a fiber filling on mattresses, comforters, pillows, and stuffed toys.

Natural Wool 5825 is easily recognized is the cleanliness of our loose pure wool insulation, as our product has been scoured to remove dirt and loose debris.

Paragon Wool Products loose pure wool insulation is a blend of live sheep’s and lamb’s wool. Because of their youth, the core of the lamb’s wool fiber has yet to fill in. This hollow core creates more air space, thereby providing a higher resistance to heat flow, or R-value.

Our patented manufacturing process combs the wool into balls, which gives the elasticity necessary for our insulation to resist compression and packing. Our loose pure wool insulation will retain its thermal value for 50 years.
